This is a quality product. I like to add it to smoothies for a good dose of protein and other goodness, not found in most protein shakes. Has a "nutty" taste, similar to flaxseeds. If you like that, you'll like this. If you're worried about the taste though, don't, since you won't really notice it when mixed with drinks.

The 5 pound bag I purchased, I divided into one pound containers and stored in the frig. The quality is no different from the smaller bags, (all the products I have tried seem to be identical to me in terms of shells/seeds). The real benefit is that this product is probably the most economical one available on the market. Its something like $10.65 per pound. You can't beat that.

Nutiva organic hempseeds are great in my morning smoothies along with flax, chia seeds, almond milk, Boku superfood, rice powder, fruits. Delicious/nutritious way to start the day....and sustaining energy! Years ago, i started buying hempseeds by one pound amounts from a bulk section and realized the air exposure may not be good to the product, so i found these 3# bags online....i get them auto-shipped and can be sure i never run out. They arrive fresh every time....in addition, this is helping support the Hemp industry in general....by buying food, clothing, personal care products made from Hemp, we are voting!

this really is the best hemp seed ive found. ive tried other brands and this one is alot more fresh when you chew on it. and it has a better taste. and for the price, no complaints!
